SABOT focuses on socially and environmentally sustainable practices, creating all garments locally and by hand. We design clothes as extensions of the body, celebrating how we express ourselves in social space. Inspired by 17th-century French Luddites, who sabotaged industrial machines with their wooden clogs (“sabot” in French), we reclaim the power of self-expression by making our own garments and supporting small local textile businesses — resisting the machinery of big fashion.
