Tulip Hat

This hat completes the blossom set, which I started a few weeks ago with the shirt and matching shorts. For this hat, I wanted to fashion it in a way that resembled the petals of a tulip, which was achieved with the front and back modular panels. This allows the brim to be worn up like a closed flower or let down in front of the eye line like a flower in bloom. This modular system also allows for combinations in between, like that of a traditional sailor's hat. This hat is made with a reinforced check cotton flannel and finished with accent wood buttons.
